The methodology of the crossing fatigue life calculation and structural integrity applies to common and obtuse cast crossings of the CEN56 and CEN60 design range. Cast vees are not within scope.

Purpose

The calculations and methods used within this module are to provide analysis of fatigue life evaluation and structural integrity. The purpose of doing the analysis is to provide an evaluation of the crossing design and enable improvements to be made. As part of the product acceptance process any new crossing design or modification to an existing design is reviewed using the process within this module.
