This Network Rail standard specifies the process for delivering and managing data and information in the RVAR. It is applicable when:

a) supplying data and information for input and update of the RVAR;

b) updating the RVAR with changes to applicable assets (as listed in Appendix A) or asset data and information contained in the RVAR;

c) carrying out data quality activities relating to the data and information held in the RVAR.

Purpose

This standard implements the requirements of NR/L2/AIF/001, Asset data management for assets contained in the Rail Vehicle Asset Register (RVAR). A sample list is provided within Appendix A, Scope of the Rail Vehicle Asset Register.
