This procedure applies to any graffiti, litter and fly-tipping issues (visual issues) on Network Rail owned land maintained by the Maintenance function.

This procedure applies if:

• You manage activities where visual issues are present.

• You are involved in or responsible for activities where visual issues are present.

• You are responsible for environmental management.

• You maintain any land/infrastructure that is subject to fly-tipping, graffiti or litter;

• A legal notice has been served upon Network Rail for graffiti, litter or fly-tipping.

Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to provide guidance on how graffiti, litter and flytipping issues shall be managed to achieve compliance with relevant legislation.
