This Network Rail standard specifies/provides guidance for: 

a) Network Rail staff involved in the assessment and monitoring of OTM crew; and

b) those involved in incident and accident investigation.

Purpose 

To provide a common approach to the extraction, validation, analysis and storage of data from data recorders where fitted to On-track Machines (OTM) worked by Network Rail OTM crew. The evidence shall be used to support driving and OTM performance monitoring, speed management and associated follow up actions, training and investigations.
