Purpose

This specification states the requirements for the design, manufacture, installation and testing of ancillary wiring BETWEEN main items of electrical distribution equipment including SCADA outstation equipment on A.C. and D.C. Electrified Lines together with the preparation of associated documentation. Where necessary, the requirements for wiring WITHIN an item of electrical distribution equipment will be specified in the procurement specification.

The document is to be read in conjunction with the relevant procurement specification.
