Periodic applications for the implementation of MIMS should be checked at two levels:-

- by the Zones Commercial Representatives as part of the regular assessment and approval of all Contractor's periodic accounts, in accordance with the IMC2000 CoC and in conjunction with RT/D/P/090;

- by the MIP Commercial Manager as part of the project management of the implementation process;

The detailed methods to be used for the validation of the periodic accounts in relation to the implementation process are described in Section 4 and set down in the process flow chart in Appendix A.

Purpose

This Guidance Note sets out the process to be used by the Zones Commercial Representatives and the MIP Commercial Manager in order to validate periodic accounts, relating to the implementation of MIMS, submitted by Contractors in accordance with condition 35 of the IMC2000 Conditions of Contract (CoC).

This Guidance Note supports RT/D/P/090 and must be read in conjunction with it.
