This product specification applies to all new 25 kV a.c. switchgear installed on A.C. Electrified Lines but excludes installation and commissioning. In the case of indoor switchgear this product specification does not include any outdoor weatherproof housing.
Purpose
This product specification states the requirements for indoor and outdoor, 25 kV a.c. single phase switchgear and ancillary equipment for use on A.C. Electrified Lines. The switchgear is installed at feeder stations, track sectioning locations etc.
