Introduction

This Track Work Instruction covers how to recognise the need for, and how to plan, a road closure. It also applies to public, occupation and accommodation crossing closures where these cross a worksite.

The actual application for the closure may be through existing work planning systems but it is necessary to appreciate the procedures required.
