This procedure applies to the preparation, distribution and updating of Electrical Control Room Instructions for all Electrical Control Rooms on A.C. and D.C. Electrified Lines.

Purpose

This procedure states the mandatory requirements for the content and preparation of Electrical Control Room Instructions by Railtrack Zones for use at Electrical Control Rooms by Electrical Control Operators to ensure that adequate and correct control procedures are followed in the control and operation of the Electrification and Plant equipment under their jurisdiction.
