This European Standard specifies system requirements (performance) and the principal requirements for design and installation with related verification and test methods for vacuum drainage systems inside buildings transporting domestic wastewater from dwellings and commercial properties but excluding stormwater and rainwater. The gravity system which feeds the wastewater to the vacuum drainage system is not covered by this European Standard.
